New at FAU – COVID-19 Edition

Many things will be different when the study programme starts in the winter semester 2020/2021. Nevertheless, we want to support you as best we can. Therefore we have planned the following activities and events for you. In this case we are called the Fachschaftsinitative Medizintechnik, an association of motivated students from different semesters, who want to help you to get the best possible study. Early Bird Events

You surely have a lot of questions about your semester start. Here you can ask questions about studying, the current Corona situation or living in Erlangen. The following online events are planned:

“Stammtisch” / Online-Pubquiz

We are planning some events in Erlangen so that you can get to know each other in real life. The first one will be the 2 groups events in October. For this we will introduce you to some nice pubs and bars in Erlangen. If necessary, we will divide the participants into groups to comply with the current regulations. Be sure to register so that we can reserve enough seats. The dates are:

Buddy Program

This semester there is a (group) buddy system for new students for the first time. These groups are only for students who are also in Erlangen! The access is via StudOn here:

Q&A sessions for lecture selection:

Since the selection of courses in the Master is often difficult, we will offer Q&A sessions on the following dates, where you can ask your questions. Please prepare for these sessions by getting yourself an overview of the course catalogue.
